Despre Asociație

The Moldovan Association for Psychoanalytic Psychosomatics

was founded in 2024 as a space for the development of psychoanalytic psychosomatics, professional dialogue, and the exchange of clinical experience. It brings together specialists in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychosomatics who share a common interest in understanding the complex relationship between psychic life and the body. We believe that not all suffering can be expressed in words. At times, the body becomes the place where inner conflicts, emotional experiences, and psychic pain find expression. One of the Association’s aims is therefore to promote a rigorous clinical approach that explores the links between mental and somatic processes without reducing one to the other.

For us, psychoanalytic psychosomatics is not simply a field of specialization. It is a way of approaching the complexity of human experience, especially where symbolization reaches its limits and the body begins to speak of what has not yet found words. The Association organizes seminars, colloquia, conferences, professional meetings, and supervision groups. These spaces are intended not only for the transmission of knowledge but also for reflection on clinical work, dialogue among colleagues, and the ongoing development of psychoanalytic thinking. We believe that the exchange of ideas, shared reflection, and encounters between different generations of professionals contribute not only to individual growth but also to the development of a living psychoanalytic community in Moldova. Above all, the Association is an invitation to think: an invitation to remain in contact with complexity, to tolerate uncertainty, and to continue searching for meaning where ready-made answers do not yet exist.
